India is bounded by the Indian Ocean in the Vicinity of Sri lanka and the Maldives Islands. India is a peninsular country with Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal on South East and South West. The geographical borders of Republic of India are shared by Pakistan on West, Burma and Bangladesh on East. Also, the countries of Nepal, Bhutan and China stand on the North East boundary of India. Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the Union Territories of India share the geographical borders with Indonesia and Burma.
